NDA & NA (II) Examination 2016 will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 18th September, 2016, for NDA admission 2016 to the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force wings of the NDA for the 138th Course and for the 100th Indian Naval Academy Course ( INAC ) commencing from 2nd July 2017.

The approximate number of vacancies in NDA & NA Exam II 2016 to be filled on the results of National Defence Academy Examination 2016 will be as under :
National Defence Academy Vacancies : 355 (208 for Army, 55 for Navy and 92 for Air Force)
Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme) Vacancies : 55
Total Vacancies in NDA 2 Exam 2016 : 410.
- A candidate is required to specify clearly in the Online application form for NDA 2 Exam 2016 the Services for which he wishes to be considered in the order of his preference [ 1 to 4 ]. He is also advised to indicate as many preferences as he wishes to opt so that having regard to his rank in the order of merit due consideration can be given to his preferences when making NDA II 2016 appointments.
- Candidates should note that they will be considered for NDA II 2016 appointment to those services only for which they express their preferences and for no other service(s). No request for addition / alteration in the preferences already indicated by a candidate in his NDA Online application form 2016 will be entertained by the Union Public Service Commission.
- National Defence Academy Admission 2016 to the above courses will be made on the results of the NDA II Exam 2016 written examination to be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission followed by intelligence and personality test by the Services Selection Board, of candidates who qualify in the National Defence Academy II written examination.
