National Defence Academy Examination (I) – NDA & NA Exam I 2014 Application Fee

Candidates ( excepting SC / ST candidates / Sons of JCOs / NCOs / ORs specified in Note 2 below who are exempted from payment of NDA 1 2014 Exam fees ) are required to pay a fee of Rupee 100/- ( Rupees One Hundred only ) either by depositing the money in any Branch of State Bank of India by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India / State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur / State Bank of Hyderabad / State Bank of Mysore / State Bank of Patiala / State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa / Master Credit / Debit Card.

NB 1 : Applicants who opt for “Pay by Cash” mode, should print the system generated Pay-in-slip during Part-II registration and deposit the free at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only. “Pay by Cash” mode option will be deactivated at 23:59 hours of 19.01.2014 i.e. one day before the closing date; however, applicants who have generated their Pay-in-slip before it is de-activated may pay at the counter of SBI Branch during banking hours on the closing date. Such applicants who are unable to pay by cash on the closing date i.e. during banking hours at SBI branch, for reason whatsoever, even if holding a valid Pay-in-Slip, will have no other offline option but to opt for online Debit / Credit Card or Internet Banking Payment mode on the closing date i.e. till 23:59 hours of 20.01.2014.

NB 2 : Candidates should note that payment of examination fee can be made only through the modes prescribed above. Payment of fee through any other mode is neither valid nor acceptable. Applications submitted without the prescribed fee / mode ( unless remission of fee is claimed ) shall be summarily rejected.

NB 3 : Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

NB 4 : For the applicants in whose case payments details have not been received from the bank, they will be treated as fictitious payment cases and their application will be rejected in the first instance. A list of all such applicants shall be made available on the Union Public Service Commission’s website within two weeks after the last day of submission of Online NDA & NA Exam I 2014 application form. The applicants shall be required to submit proof of their fee payment within 10 days from the date of such communication either by hand or by speed post to the Union Public Service Commission. On receipt of documentary proof, genuine fee payment cases will be considered and their applications will be revived, if they are otherwise eligible.
NDA Exam Question Bank CD

Note – 1 : Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes and those specified in Note 2 below are not required to pay any fee. No fee exemption is, however, available to OBC candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

Note – 2 : The sons of serving / ex-Junior Commissioned Officers / Non-Commissioned Officers / Other Ranks of Army and equivalent ranks in the Indian Navy / Indian Air Force are also not required to pay the prescribed fee if they are studying in Military School ( formerly known as King George’s School ) / Sainik School run by Sainik Schools Society. [ NB : A certificate of eligibility for fee exemption is required to be obtained by all such candidates from the Principals concerned individually and produced for verification at the time of NDA SSB Test / Interview by the candidates who are declared qualified for the NDA SSB Test / Interview. ]

    i wanted to know that what’s the procedure of submitting the fee after getting the registration id. will the fee be deposited through challan or a dd will be made by the bank.

      Candidates opting to deposit fee in cash are advised to take print of Pay-in-Slip by using the option in the 5th page of Part I registration : Print Bank Pay-in-Slip. Using this pay-in slip, they can deposit the fee in cash at any branch of State Bank of India. The Bank will not accept any other pay-in slip or challan than the one printed through the Print Bank Pay-in-Slip option of this Online Application. After receipt of cash, the Bank would stamp the pay-in-slip and also provide a Transaction ID. The candidate would have to log in again and proceed with PART-II Registration process.

      For OBC candidates, the NDA Exam I 2013 Exam Fee will be Rs. 100/-. Kindly refer the following :

      Candidates opting to deposit fee in cash are advised to take print of Pay-in-Slip by using the “option” in the 5th page of Part I registration : “Print Bank Pay-in-Slip”. Using this pay-in slip, they can deposit the fee in cash at any branch of State Bank of India. The Bank will not accept any other pay-in slip option of NDA Exam Online Application.       Last date for applying NDA Exam I 2013 is 21.01.2013.

      In the fourth page of Part I Registration, take print of Pay-in Slip by using the option “PrintBank Pay-in-Slip”. Using this pay-in slip, you can deposit the fee in cash at any branch of State Bank of India. The State Bank will not accept any other pay-in slip or challan than the one printed through the “Print Bank Pay-in-Slip” Option of this Online Application. After receipt of cash, the State Bank of India would stamp the pay-in-slip and also provide a “Transaction ID”. The candidate would have to log in again and proceed with PART-II Registration process.

      No need to pay the NDA Exam fee for your son, as you are an Ex-serviceman. Please continue applying for NDA Exam II 2013. Last Date for applying NDA II Exam 2013 is 03.06.2013.
