13. Junior Engineers Civil & Electrical Exam 2013 Application Form
All applications for SSC Junior Engineers Civil & Electrical Exam 2013 must be submitted only. For detailed instructions relating to the application form for SSC Exam 2013 and how the application is to be submitted, Annexure – II A may be referred to.
(A) : Preferences for Posts & Departments / Offices
A candidate is required to indicate at Sl. No. 13 in his / her Application Form, Name of Post for which he / she would like to be considered for final allotment in order of preferences in case he / she is recommended by the Staff Selection Commission.
Allocation of Posts to the selected candidates will be made strictly keeping in view their position in the merit list and the order of preference, subject to number of vacancies in SSC 2013 available in that post. The posts for the propose are grouped and codes as below :

Note : Staff Selection Commission may allot the candidates of this examination to equivalent and comparable posts.
(B) : Preference of States Codes
Candidates are required to indicate their preference for States in the event of their selection. Actual placement will be done by the User Department and will depend on availability of vacancies in various states. The states / UTs for the purpose are grouped and coded as below :

Note : Candidates may note that options once exercised are final and no change will be allowed under any circumstance.
15. Admission to the SSC Examination :
All candidates who apply in response to SSC advertisement by the closing date will be assigned roll numbers. These will be communicated to them or placed on the website of the concerned regional office at least two weeks before the date of the SSC examination 2013. A candidate must write his / her roll number along with his / her name, date of birth and name of the SSC examination while addressing any communication to the concerned regional office of the Staff Selection Commission. Communication from the candidate not furnishing these particulars shall not be entertained.
Admission Certificates ( ACs ) for the SSC Examination 2013 indicating the time table and also venues of examination for each candidate will be issued to all applicants about two weeks before the date of SSC examination.
If any candidate does not receive admission certificate for the SSC examination 2013 one week before the date of Staff Selection Commission Examination, He / She must immediately contact the concerned Regional / Sub Regional Office (S) of the Staff Selection Commission with details such as registration id, transaction id of SBI, copy of challan etc for obtaining the admission certificates.
Failure to do so will deprive him / her of any claim for consideration. Candidates also have the option to download the admission certificates from the concerned Regional / Sub Regional Offices website. Such facility will be available about two weeks before the SSC Junior Engineers Examination.
16. Staff Selection Commission’s Decision Final :
The decision of the Staff Selection Commission in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the SSC Exam applications, penalty for false information, mode of selection, conduct of SSC examination(s) and interviews, allotment of SSC examination centres, selection and allotment of SSC posts / organizations to selected candidates will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry / correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
17. Courts Jurisdiction :
Any dispute in regard to SSC recruitment 2013 will be subject to courts / tribunals having jurisdiction over the headquarter of concerned Regional / Sub-Regional Office of the SSC Exam 2013 where the candidate has submitted his / her application.
