Nature of Post: Non gazetted, permanent

Qualifications: Should possess a diploma of civil engineering from

(i) Roorki University or

(ii) The Hewett Engineering School, Lucknow or

(iii) The Civil Engineering College, Lucknow or

(iv) The Aligarh Engineering College or

(v) The Pune Engineering College or

(vi) The Orissa Engineering College or

(vii) The Civil Diploma issued by the M.G. Technical Institute or any other institution recognised by Government or the State Board of Technical Education. Age: Between 21 to 35 years.

Qualifications: Essential:

1) Degree with 55% marks in respective discipline of engineering or technology or A.M.I.E. (India).

(2) Eight years professional or teaching experience out of which five years must be on the post of lecturer. Two years relaxation in experience for M.E /M.Tech degree holders.

(3) Knowledge of Hindi.

Note:

(1) Where basic degree in concerned discipline is not awarded or where candidates having such degree are not available basic bachelor's degree with respective subject as elective or special subject shall be considered.

(2) Experience of government institutions, public sector undertaking or limited organisations only will be accepted and will be counted after the candidates have attained the prescribed educational qualification.

Preferential: 1. Served in Territorial Army for a period of two years, Or 2. Obtained a B' certificate of

National Cadet Corps. Age: 21 to 35 Years

One Post of Deputy Director- in Environment Directorate of U.P.

Nature of Post: Gazetted /temporary which is likely to continue.

Reservation: The post is reserved for S.C. candidates of U.P. (Department No. S-3/1)

(A) Essential Qualifications:-

(i) A First class Master's degree in Physics or Chemistry or Bio-chemistry or Zoology or Botany or Geology or Environmental Science or Bio-Science or Bio-Technology or Geophysics or Agriculture, as the case may be, as per job requirement of the department, from a University established by law in India or a qualification declared by the Government as equivalent there to; Or A Bachelor's degree in first class in Engineering or Technology (Civil or Chemical or Environmental or Mining or Metallurgical or computer or Bio) as the case may be, as per job requirement of the department, from a University established by law in India or a qualification declared by the Government as equivalent there to; Or M.B.B.S. degree with at least 65% marks in the aggregate from a University established by law in India or a qualification declared by the Government as equivalent there to;

ii)-Seven Years Practical experience in the desired field of environment.

(B) Preferential Qualifications: Being other things equal the candidates having following qualifications will be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment -(i) A first class Master's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine, as the case may be, as per job requirement of the department, from a University established by law in India or a qualification declared by the Government as equivalent there to; Or A doctorate degree in Science or Engineering or Technology or Medicine,

(ii) Served in the territorial army for a minimum period of two years, or

(iii) Obtained a 'B' Certificate of National Cadet Corps.

Age: 21 to 40 Years (Age relaxation as per rules).
