4. How to Apply for PSCSCCE 2015
4.1 The candidate after making himself / herself well acquainted with the General Information and Guidelines for filling Online Application Form may apply for PSCSCCE 2015 using Online Application Form link.
4.2 The candidates are required to pay the application fee as per Govt.Letter No.10/26/2007-3PP3/97751/1 dated 17-9-2013 as mentioned below :

4.3 The Punjab State Civil Service Exam Application Fee must be submitted through any Branch of State Bank of Patiala. Candidate should carefully fill in the details of the Online Application and click on the “submit” button at the end of the Online Application Format. Before pressing the “submit” button, candidates are advised to verify every detail filled in the application. Once the application is filled in complete, Candidate should submit the data. ( Candidates should take a printout of the system generated fee payment Challan immediately. ) No Change / Edit will be allowed after Submission. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
4.4 Last Date for Punjab State Civil Service Exam Online Registration 2015 : The Online Applications for Punjab State Civil Service Exam can be filled up to 05th October, 2015 till 11:59 PM after which the link will be disabled.
4.5 Last Date for Depositing the Application Fees by system generated Fee Challan Form 12th October, 2015. Punjab State Civil Service Exam Application fee paid against one Registration ID shall not be adjusted against any other Registration ID.
Correspondences with the Punjab Public Service Commission :
The Punjab Public Service Commission will not enter into any correspondence with the candidates about their candidature except in the following cases :
i. The eligible candidates shall be issued an Punjab State Civil Service Exam Admit Card two weeks [ tentatively ] before the commencement of the examination. The Punjab State Civil Service Exam Admit Card will be made available on the PPSC website [ http://ppsc.gov.in ] for downloading by candidates. No Admission Certificate will be sent by post. If a candidate does not receive his Admit Card or any other communication regarding his / her candidature for the examination two weeks before the commencement of the examination, he / she should at once contact the Punjab Public Service Commission. Information in this regard can also be obtained from the Reception Counter located in the Commission’s Office either in person or over phone Nos.0175-5014847/49.
In case no communication is received in the Commission’s Office from the candidate regarding non-receipt of his / her Admit Card atleast 2 weeks before the examination, he / she himself / herself will be solely responsible for non-receipt of his / her Admit Card. No candidate will ordinarily be allowed to take the examination unless he / she holds a valid Admit Card for the examination. On downloading of Admit Card, check it carefully and bring discrepancies / errors, if any, to the notice of PPSC immediately. The candidates should note that their admission to the examination will be purely provisional based on the information given by them in the Application Form. This will be subject to verification of all the eligibility conditions by the PPSC.
The mere fact that an Admit Card to the Examination has been issued to a candidate, will not imply that his / her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission or that entries made by the candidate in his / her application for the Punjab State Civil Service Preliminary examination have been accepted by the Commission as true and correct. Candidates may note that the Commission takes up the verification of eligibility conditions of a candidate, with reference to original documents, only after the candidate has qualified for PSCSCCE – 2015 ( Main ) Examination. Unless candidature is formally confirmed by the Commission, it continues to be provisional. The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to the Examination shall be final.
ii. In the event of a candidate downloading more than one Admit Card from the Commission’s website [ in the case of Multiple Registration or otherwise ], he / she should use only one of these Admit Card for appearing in the examination and report about the other(s) to the Commission’s Office.
iii. Candidates are informed that as the Preliminary Examination is only a screening test, no marks sheets will be supplied to successful or unsuccessful candidates and no correspondence will be entertained by the Commission, in this regard.
iv. Candidates must ensure that their email IDs given in their online applications are valid and active.
All communications to the Commission should invariably contain the following particulars.
- Name and year of the examination.
- Registration ID ( RID ).
- Roll Number ( if received ).
- Name of candidate ( in full and in block letters ).
- Complete postal address as given in the application.
N.B. I : Communication not containing the above particulars may not be attended to.
N.B. II : Candidates should also note down their RID number for future reference. They may be required to indicate the same in connection with their candidature for the PSCSCCE – 2015 ( Main ) Examination.
