Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission SAS ( OB ) Entrance Examination 2016 for initial selection of candidates for SAS ( OB ) Training.

Himachal Pradesh PSC SAS (OB) Eligibility 2016
Essential Qualifications and Other Conditions :
- Subject to other conditions prescribed in these rules, the following categories of employees shall be eligible to sit in a competitive examination to be conducted by the Commission for initial selection of candidates for SAS(OB) training;
- All employees having 5 years service under the Government of Himachal Pradesh and the employees of the Corporations / Boards / Autonomous Bodies / Local Bodies etc., possessing a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent thereto from a recognized University.
b. Age Limit for HPPSC SAS Entrance Exam 2016 : Maximum age limit for appearing in the competitive SAS(OB) Entrance Examination shall be 42 years as on 1st January, 2016.
c. The Candidates ( Employees ) appearing in the competitive SAS(OB) Entrance Examination shall not be entitled for special leave for which they shall require to take leave from their employers.
d. The employees shall have to bear their own expenditure for appearing in Himachal Pradesh PSC competitive SAS(OB) Entrance Examination 2016.
e. The selected trainee candidates for undergoing the training for SAS(OB) Part – I & II Examination shall be required to execute a bond for an amount of 50,000/- with two sureties of the like amount to the Director of HIPA to serve the Government of Himachal Pradesh for a period of at least 5 years after successfully completing and qualifying the SAS(OB) Part-I & II training / Examination before their admission. The Director, HIPA shall submit the aforesaid executed bond to the Director of Treasuries, Accounts and Lotteries for safe custody.
The Subjects and Syllabus for the HPPSC SAS Entrance Examination shall be as under :
|Paper - I||English and Hindi||Precis, letter writing, noting and drafting and other general questions to test the candidate’s Ability to write correct English / Hindi. English / Hindi portions will carry 75 marks each.|
|Paper - II||Omnibus Accounts.||Questions will be on Rules relating to pay Fixation, Pension, T.A.,LTC, Leave and GPF.|
|Paper - III||FRs, SRs, Himachal Pradesh Financial Rules, 2009||a. Fundamental Rules and Supplementary Rules ( excluding rules covered in Paper - II ).
b. Himachal Pradesh Financial Rules, 2009.
Note 1 : Standard of English Paper will be similar to that of the Degree Examination of any recognized Indian University and standard of Hindi Paper shall be similar to that of 10 +2 examination or equivalent of recognized University or Board of School Education.
Note 2 : Each Paper shall carry 150 marks and will be of three hours duration.
Note 3 : The medium of examination shall be English except for paper-I for which the medium of examination shall be both English and Hindi Part-wise.
- The minimum pass marks shall be 40% in each paper and 45% in aggregate, but for reserved category the percentage will respectively be 5% less.
- The final selection shall be made strictly in order of merit, of course keeping in view the reservation of seat for reserved categories.
Number of Chances for Appearing in HPPSC SAS Entrance Examination 2016 :
- No employee shall be allowed more than three chances to sit in the entrance examination.
- The candidates who have finally been declared unsuccessful in SAS examination held after completion of training will not be eligible to sit in the entrance examination again.
Candidates to Ensure their Eligibility for the HPPSC SAS Entrance Examination :
The Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admissions to examination. The eligibility of candidate in all respect will be reckoned on the last day of receipt of application. Their admission to all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of admit card to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission.
HPPSC SAS Entrance Examination Fee 2016
The detail of fee for respective categories is as under :
|1.||General ( including General Physically Disabled, i.e. Orthopedically disabled, Deaf & Dumb, hearing impaired / W.F.F. of H.P. / ExServicemen of HP relieved from Defence Services on their own request before completion of normal tenure.||400/-

The candidates are requested to pay a fee of 400/- for general Category and 100/- for S.C./S.T./OBC of H.P. by cash at any branch of Punjab National bank, through a e-challan generated through the http://www.hp.gov.in/hppsc website or by using Visa / Master Card / Credit / Debit Card.
Pay by Cash :
The candidates who opt for “Pay by Cash” mode, should print the system generated e-Challan of Punjab National Bank after applying online for the post through Commission’s website, and Transaction No., Branch Code and date of Receipt given by the PNB on candidate’s copy of e-Challan are required to be updated before the last date in the same Login ID in the Fee Details Link. Before applying online.
Through Credit / Debit / Visa Card
The candidates can also pay requisite amount of application fee through Credit / Debit Card only. Payment Gateway accepts Debit and Credit Cards from VISA and Master Card of any Bank. A link to pay requisite application fee.
Note : Candidates should note that payment of fee can be made only through the modes. Payment of fee through any other mode is neither valid nor acceptable. Applications submitted without the prescribed fee / mode shall be summarily rejected.
