It is for the information of all concerned that the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service ( Preliminary ) Examination II 2016 will be held on 04.09.2016 in various centres at Shimla and Dharamshala. The list of the candidates whose candidature has been rejected for various reasons for the said examination has been uploaded on the official website of the Commission. The Roll Number, centre of examination and instructions to the admitted candidates will be uploaded on the website www.hp.gov.in/hppsc of the Commission in due course which may be downloaded by the candidate itself.

Candidates to Ensure their Eligibility for the HPPSC Judicial Service Examination II 2016
The candidates applying for the HPPSC Civil Judge examination II 2016 should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to examination. Their admission to all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Mere issue of admit card to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.
Essential Qualifications for HPPSC Civil Judge Exam II 2016 :
- As on fifth of July, 2016, a candidate must be a holder of degree in Law as recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- A candidate must be a citizen of India.
Desirable Qualification for HPPSC Civil Judge Exam II 2016 : The knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the State of Himachal Pradesh.
HPPSC Civil Judge Exam II Age Limit 2016 : A candidate must have attained the age of 22 years but must not be more than 35 years of age as on the last date prescribed for receipt of applications for HPPSC Judicial Service Exam in the Himachal Pradesh PSC Commission’s Office i.e. 5th July, 2016.
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for HPPSC Civil Judge Exam II 2016 : The upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for S.C./S.T. and other prescribed reserved categories ( OPRC ) candidates of Himachal Pradesh.
Note :- If there is no posts of SC / ST/ OBC categories, no relaxation (except fee) shall be admissible to the candidates of these categories.
Examination Fee for HPPSC Judicial Service Competitive Exam II 2016
The candidates are required to pay a fee either by depositing the money in any branch of PNB by cash or by using Visa / Master Card / Credit / Debit Card.
The detail of fee for respective categories is as under :
- General / Unreserved Category : 400/-.
- SC / ST / Other Prescribed Reserved Category of H.P.: 100/-.
Candidates are required to pay a HPPSC Judicial Service Exam fee 2016 of 400/- for General Category and 100/- for S.C. / S.T. / OBC of H.P. by cash at any branch of Punjab National Bank, through a e-challan generated through the above website or by using visa / master card / credit / debit card.
Pay by Cash :
The candidates who opt for “Pay by Cash” mode, should print the system generated e-Challan of Punjab National Bank after applying online for the post through Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission’s website, and Transaction No., Branch Code and date of Receipt given by the PNB on candidate’s copy of e-Challan are required to be updated before the last date in the same Login ID in the Fee Details link. Before applying online, all candidates are advised to go through detailed instructions given on the above mentioned website.
Through Credit / Debit / Visa Card / Master Card
The candidates can also pay requisite amount of application fee through Credit / Debit Card only. Payment Gateway accepts Debit and Credit Cards from Visa and Master Card of any Bank. A link to pay requisite application fee by this mode is also available on our website.
Note : Candidates should note that payment of fee can be made only through the modes prescribed above. Payment of fee through any other mode is neither valid nor acceptable. Applications submitted without the prescribed fee / mode shall be summarily rejected.
