12. Six Assistant Professor ( Plastic Surgery ), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Of the six posts, one post each is reserved for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates and remaining four posts are reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates.

Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : ( i ) Same as in Item No. 10 above. ( ii ) Post Graduate degree qualification in the concerned speciality i.e., M.Ch. [The teaching experience in any other post like the post of GDMO / MO shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to the Teaching posts]

13. Twenty-three Specialist Grade-II ( Microbiology ), Non-Teaching, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : ( i ) An MBBS qualification recognized by Medical Council of India included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule ( other than licentiate qualifications ) to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part II of the third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section ( 3 ) of section ( 13 ) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. ( ii ) Post Graduate degree / Diploma in the concerned speciality mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in the Schedule-VI i.e., M.D ( Bacteriology ), MD( Microbiology ), MD( Bact.with Pathology ), M.Sc.( Microbiology ), M.Sc( Bacteriology ). D( Bact. ), D.P.B or equivalent. 15. One Deputy Director ( Costing ) in Office of Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles. The post is Unreserved. The post is suitable for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz. Hearing Impairment i.e. Partially Deaf ( PD ) or Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz. Orthopaedically Handicapped / Locomotor Disability / Cerebral Palsy with One Leg Affected ( Right or Left ) ( OL ) or One Arm Affected ( Right or Left ) ( OA ).

Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or I.C & W.A. of India or equivalent.

B. Experience : About 5 years experience * of dealing with costing and financial problems of which 3 years should be in a Responsible capacity** in Govt. or Semi-Govt. offices or a commercial firm. * About 5 years’ experience means that it should not be less than 4 years and 6 months. ** Responsible capacity means to examine / report on the working of the uneconomic units in the textile industry and evolve measures to bring such units to an economic level and to monitor various schemes of Central Govt. for Technology Up-gradation and attracting investments in Textile Industry from time to time.

Desirable : i ) Degree of a recognized University or Degree in Textile Manufacture / Textile Technology of a recognized University or equivalent. ii ) Previous experience of dealing with problems of textile industry in a Govt. or Semi Govt. office or commercial firm.

Duties : To examine / report on the working of the uneconomic units in the textile industry and evolve measures to bring such units to an economic level and to monitor various schemes of Central Govt. for Technology Upgradation and attracting investments in textile industry from time to time.

16. Five Assistant Director ( Horticulture ) in Central Public Works Department, Ministry of Urban Development. The posts are Unreserved.

Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialisation in Horticulture of a Recognised university / Institute; or M.Sc. in Horticulture with Floriculture or Olericulture as a Subject of a recognised University / Institute; or M.Sc. in Botany with Horticulture as a subject of a recognised University / Institute; or B.Sc. in Agriculture / Botany / Horticulture with Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture of a recognised University / Institute; or M.Sc. in Floriculture and Landscaping or Horticulture from a Recognised University / Institute.

B. Experience : Two years’ experience in Horticulture including Ornamental gardening.

Duties : Supervision of maintenance of works and staff, tendering technical advice to the subordinates in respect of Government property and to tenants in regard to Floral, fruit and vegetable gardens. Supervision of original works and ensure maintenance of correct standards and specifications. Control of staff and maintenance of their service records, preparation of estimates for original and maintenance of works and control of expenditure on these works. 17. One Assistant Architect in Department of Urban Planning, Chandigarh Administration. The post is Unreserved. The post is suitable for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz. Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : ( i ) Degree in Architecture or an equivalent Diploma from recognized University / Institute or equivalent. ( ii ) Should be registered with the Council of Architecture.

B. Experience : Two years experience under a Registered Architect.

Duties : The Assistant Architect is the next officer who assists the Architect in the preparation of Working drawings and detailed drawings. He is responsible for proper upkeep and handling of the drawings in the record of his group. He submits monthly progress report of the work done by his group to the Architect for further action.

18. One Professor ( Paediatrics ) in Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh, Department of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh Administration. The post is Unreserved.

Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : ( i ) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956 ) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. ( ii ) M.D. ( Paediatrics ) from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent. [ For equivalence of DNB qualifications with MD / MS or DM / M.Ch, the candidates holding DNB qualifications would need to get their qualification verified by NBE as to whether it is as per the requirement of the Gazette notification No. MCI-12( 2 ) / 2010-Med. B. Experience : Ten years’ experience in the profession after acquiring Post-graduate qualification, out of which four years’ should be as Reader / Associate Professor in a recognized Medical College / Teaching Institution.

Desirable : Minimum four Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus / National Journals and one Research Publication in International Journals.

Note-I : The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the Medical Council of India. In case of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached.

Note-II : In so far as post graduation medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time.

Note-III : Holder of equivalent Post-Graduate qualifications as are approved by the Medical Council of India from time to time will be considered to have requisite Post Graduation qualification in the subject concerned. In case of medical posts other than Allopathic System of medicine, the qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system of medicine. Note-IV : Holders of specialty Board of USA abroad qualifications should complete the entire requirements of Board concerned.

Note-V : In terms of Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare ( Department of Health ) Notification No. V.11015/12/78-ME( Policy ) dated 29.8.1978, the qualifications granted in United Kingdom shall be recognized medical qualifications only when granted on or before 11.11.1978.

Note-VI : In the case of qualification in Super-Specialties ( M.Ch. / D.M. ) except in the case of holders of D.M. / M.Ch. of five years duration, the holders should have obtained M.D. ( General Medicine ) or M.S. ( General Surgery ) or an equivalent qualification as prescribed by the said Council in its recommendations on post graduate medical examination.

Note-VII : In the case of holder of D.M. / M.Ch. qualification of five years duration, the period of Senior Post Graduate residency rendered in the last part of the said D.M. / M.Ch. shall be counted towards requirement of experience.

Desirable : Minimum four Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus / National Journals and one Research Publication in International Journals.

Duties : Teaching the Under-graduate ( MBBS ) and Post-graduate students, training of interns, paramedical staff and research work in the Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh.

Any Other Conditions :

  1. The candidate so appointed will be required to serve in Govt. Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh.
  2. The candidate shall be liable to serve in any of the Rural Health Centers of the Chandigarh Administration, if so required.
