Qualifications : Essential :

(A) Educational : M.Sc. in Microbiology from a recognized university or institute; Or M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology from a recognized university or institute; Or M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science or Agricultural Chemistry or Agronomy or Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized university or institute.

(B) Experience : Two years experience in the field of research and development of biofertilizers and other aspects of organic farming.

Desirable : Ph.D in any discipline mentioned in essential qualifications.

Duties : Testing of Biofertilisers, Organic Manures, Vermi-culture & different organic inputs in laboratory, Isolation and authentication of different strains of effective microorganisms related with organic farming, Organisation of training programmes on organic farming, Organisation of field demonstration programmes on organic farming, Preparation of technical literature on organic farming.

  2. Enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or a State Register of Indian Medicine.

Supervision of the work relating to processing of data on House listing, Population Enumeration and other schemes and projects and the generation of tables, statements, annexure, etc. Preparation of manuscript of census publications and drafting of bulletins/reports on other schemes and projects. Supply and dissemination of census data and the data relating to other schemes, surveys, etc. Supervise/undertake surveys on census, social studies, demography, sample registration system, civil registration system, causes of death, linguistic surveys etc. Undertake analytical studies and preparation of reports. UPSC Joint Secretary and Legal Advisers Pay Scale 2016 : Rupee37,400-67,000 (PB-4) + Rupee10,000 (Grade Pay) (T.E. Rupee1,06,650/- Approx.) + TA and HRA as admissible. Group-‘A’, Gazetted and belongs to Grade-I of Legal Advisers’ Service Cadre of Indian Legal Service.

Qualifications : Essential :

(A) Educational : A person shall not be eligible for appointment by direct recruitment to a duty post in Grade I, unless he holds a Degree in Law of a recognized University or LLB and unless he has been a member of the Indian Civil Service permanently allotted to the judiciary or of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than sixteen years or has held a superior post in the legal department of a State for a period of not less than sixteen years or a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for not less than sixteen years.

Note 1 : In making appointment by direct recruitment to a duty post in Grade I, preference shall be given at interview stage to a person (not being a member of State Judicial Service or a legal practitioner) who are the members of the Legal Advisers’ service cadre of Indian Legal Service with experience in legal advice work if such post is in the Legal Adviser Service cadre in the Department of Legal Affairs.

Note 2 : A superior post in the Legal Department of a State means is that he should have experience in the State Government in a post which is not clerical and which requires qualification of Degree in Law for appointment to it.
