Duties :

  1. Master’s degree in Law with specialization in the field of International Law and/or International Relations or International Organizations from a recognized University.   2. Candidates having specialization in International Law in M.Phil or Ph.D level but not at Master’s level will also be eligible.

Experience :

  2. Post- Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or Superspeciality mentioned in Section –A of Schedule VI

Note – I :

For equivalence of DNB qualifications with MD/MS or DM/M.Ch, the candidates holding DNB qualifications would need to get their qualification verified by NBE as to whether it is as per the requirement of the Gazette notification Misc. dated 11th June, 2012 and produce such verification certificate at the time of interview.

Note – II :

Any Post Graduation Degree or Diploma awarded by any Indian Universities, included in or excluded from, the Schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), consequent to recognition granted or withdrawn by Govt of India as per provisions of the said Act shall be deemed to have been included or excluded accordingly from the Schedule-VI.

Note – III :

The Post Graduation Medical Qualifications awarded by Indian Universities, must have been included in the Schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956) for the purpose of Schedule VI.

Note – IV :

In the case of holders of Doctorate of Medicine (DM) or Magister Chirurgiae (M. Ch.) qualification of five years duration, the period of five years’ duration, the period of Senior Post Graduate residency rendered in the last part of the said of Doctorate of Medicine (DM) or Magister Chirurgiae (M. Ch.) shall be counted towards requirement of teaching experience.

Experience :

At least three years’ Teaching experience as Sr. Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post graduate degree.

Note :
The teaching experience in any other post like the post of GDMO/MO shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to the Teaching posts.

Duties :

  1. To impart theoretical and practical instructions to under-graduate/post-graduate medical students.
  2. To conduct and guide research work in the speciality.
  3. To render patient care in the speciality.
  4. Any other duties that may be assigned by the authorities from time to time.

Any Other Conditions :

  1. Private practice of any kind what so ever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice.
  2. The candidate selected will, if so required shall be liable to serve in any Defence service or post connected with the Defence of India, for a period not less than four years including the period spent in training, if any: Provided that such officer shall not
