The two posts of Skippers in Central Institute of Fisheries, Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET), has been cancelled by Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

1. Two Skippers in Central Institute of Fisheries, Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Department of Animal Husbandary, Dairying and Fisheries (UR-02). The post is permanent.

Duties :

To function as Officer-in-Charge of the department fishing vessels and to control all the floating staff on board the fishing vessel.   1. A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or second Schedule or part II of the Third schedule ( other than licentiate qualifications ) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in the Part II of Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
  2. Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned speciality or Super-speciality of Public Health i.e. MD (Social and Preventive Medicine); or MD ( Community Medicine ); or MD (Health Administration); or MD ( Community Health Administration ); or Diploma in Public Health; or Diploma in Industrial Health; or Master of Public Health; or Diploma in Tropical Medicine; or Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.

Note-I : For equivalence of DNB qualifications with MD/MS or DM/M.Ch, the candidates holding DNB qualifications would need to get their qualification verified by NBE as to whether it is as per the requirement of the Gazette notification No.MCI-12(2)/2010-Med. (B) Experiencee : Three years’ Experiencee in the concerned speciality or super specialitiy after obtaining the first Post-graduate Degree or five years’ Experiencee after obtaining the Post-graduate Diploma.

Duties :

  1. To conduct studies and field investigations in the control of communicable Diseases;
  2. To assist in the Training Programs undertaken by the Institutions;
  3. Any other Duties that may be assigned by the authorities from time to time.

Any Other Conditions :

  1. The other conditions of service will be laid down in the CHS Rules, 2014, and other rules in force from time to time in particular.
  2. Private practice of any kind what so ever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice.
  3. The candidate selected will, If so required shall be liable to serve in any Defence service or post connected with the Defence of India, for a period not less than four years including the period spent in training, if any: Provided that such officer shall not
    1. be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of ten years from the date of appointment or from the date of joining the service,

Training Certificate from Advanced Training Institute or Central Training Institute or National Vocational Training Institute or Regional Vocational Training Institute under the Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship

Duties :

  1. To conduct theory classes and practical in Workshop.
  2. To maintain training records.
  3. To supervise the work of Vocational Instructor and Workshop Attendant.
  4. To assist Director / Principal / Vice Principal in conducting final trade Tests and all India skill competitions and to carry out other Duties assigned by them.

The post is exclusively reserved for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz.   2. About four years’ Experience* in the Central / State Government or Semi-Government Organization with Duties relating to development of Textile Industry, OR About four years’ Experience* in recognized technical institution ( under a University connected with Textile Technology ).

Note : *Experience of not less than six (6) years & six (6) months / three (3) years & nine (9) months / two (2) years & nine (9) months may be treated as ‘about seven (7) years / four (4) years / three (3) years Experience respectively.

Desirable :

  1. Experience in more than one production Centre of textile.
  2. Knowledge of wool or Art Silk or Handloom Industry.
  3. Knowledge of Textile Machinery or Textile Mill stores.

Duties : To promote / facilitate for technology up-gradation and development of all sectors of textile industry. Associate in project preparation, appraisal and escorting it to the financial institutions. Development of thrust areas e.g. weaving / knitting / processing, readymade garments, specialty & technical textiles. Facilitate and associate in industry need based HRD programs. Imports, Exports and trade related work.

12. One Lecturer (Chemistry) in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, Pahargaon, Port Blair (UR-01). The post is suitable for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz. Orthopaedically Handicapped / Locomotor Disability / Cerebral Palsy with One Leg Affected (Right or Left) (OL) or One Arm Affected (Right or Left) (OA). The post is permanent.
