Applications on prescribed form are invited by 13th July 2006. Pay scale & upper age limit immediately follow name of the post. The date for determining eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the normal closing date prescribed for receipt of applications viz. 13.07.06.

• One assistant commissioner (sheep) in the department of animal husbandry, dairying & fisheries, ministry of agriculture. Qualifications: essential a. Educational: i) Degree in Veterinary Science or Animal Husbandry of a recognised University or equivalent. ii) Post-Graduate degree in any branch of Animal Science related to production. B. Experience: Five years experience in the field of sheep and wool work.

• Four civilian assistant security officers in various units of army headquarters, ministry of defence, civilian in defence service. Of the four posts, two posts are reserved for OBC candidates. The posts are also identified as suitable for Physically Handicapped [Orthopaedically Handicapped (with locomotor disability or cerebral palsy with one leg or one arm affected with impaired reach or weakness of grip or at axic)] candidates. Qualification: Essential: A. Educational: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent. B. Experience: Five years experience in security duties with atleast three experience in fire safety/fire fighting duties.

• One development officer in the directorate of vanaspati vegetable oil & fats in the ministry of consumer affairs, food & public distribution, department of food & public distribution. Qualification: Essential: A. Educational: Master’s degree in Chemistry or Post Graduate degree in Oil Technology from a recognised University or Institute or equivalent. B. Experience: Three years experience in Oils & Fats in a manufacturing concern or analytical Laboratory or extraction work.

• One scientist-sb (nd) in national test house, kolkata, ministry of consumer affairs, food & public distribution, department of consumer affairs. Qualification: essential: a. Educational: Master’s degree in Physics (Pure/Applied) or degree in Mechanical/Metallurigical/Electrical Engineering of a recognised University or equivalent. B. Experience: Three years practical experience in non-destructive/metallographic techniques as employed in testing/evaluation/failure investigation of materials, acquired after obtaining the basic educational qualifications.

• Two assistant directors (plg./stat.), govt. Of n.c.t. of delhi ( planning department). Of the two posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates. The posts are also identified as suitable for Physically Handicapped [Blindness or low vision or Hearing Impairment or Orthopaedically Handicapped (with locomotor disability or cerebral palsy)] candidates. Qualification: essential: a. Educational: Master’s degree in Statistics/Operational Research or in Mathematics/Economics/Commerce (with Statistics) of a recognised University or equivalent. B. Experience: Three years experience of Statistical work involving collection, compilation and interpretation of statistical data.

The age limit shown against all S. Nos is normal age limit. The age is relaxable for OBC candidates up to 3 years in respect of vacancies reserved for them.

Candidates with disabilities (as indicated against each item) can apply to the respective posts even if the post is not reserved for them. However, such candidates will be considered for selection to such posts by general standard of merit. Persons suffering from not less than 40% of relevant disability shall alone be eligible for the benefit of reservation and other relaxations as permissible under the rules.

At places specifically stated against certain posts, otherwise anywhere in India or aboard.

The persons selected will be appointed on probation as per rule
