Applications on prescribed form are invited by 10th Aug 2006 (17th Aug 2006 in respect of applications received only by post (by post) from candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunchal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti districts and Pangi sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, A & N Islands or Lakshadweep or abroad). Pay scale (Approx total emoluments excluding HRA & CCA) & upper age limits immediately follow name of the post. The date for determining eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the normal closing date prescribed for receipt of applications viz. 10.08.2006.

Defence Ministry: Two Senior Design Officers Grade-1 (Construction) in the Naval Headquarters. Rs.10000-15200 (T.E. Rs.18600). 40 yrs. EQ: A. Edu: Degree in Naval Architecture from a recognised University or equivalent. B.Exp: Five year’s practical experience in design/installation/construction of ships.

Labour Ministry: One Training Officer (Farm Machinery) in the Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour. Rs.6500-10500 (T.E. Rs.12090). 30 yrs EQ: Edu: A i) Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent and ii) Two years post qualification experience in the area of Agricultural Engineering/Farm Machinery in a workshop engaged in Production/Maintenance/servicing or Teaching/Training in a Technical Institute. OR B. I) Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from a recognised University/Institute or equivalent and ii) Five years’ post qualification experience in the area of Agricultural Engineering/Farm Machinery in a workshop engaged in Production /Maintenance/Servicing and/or Teaching/Training in a Technical Institute.

Home Affairs Ministry: Five Deputy Directors (Electronic Data Processing) in the Office of the Registrar General, India. Out of five posts, one post is reserved for Other Backward Classes Candidates and remaining four posts are unreserved. Of them, one post is reserved for Orthopadically Handicapped persons with one leg affected, of any community. These posts are also suitable for persons with Orthopaedic Handicap (OA, OL) and hearing impairment (PD), Rs.10000-15200 (T.E. Rs.18600). 40 yrs EQ: EDU: EDUCATIONAL: A, - i) Master’s Degree in Computer Applications/Computer Science or M.Tech. (with specialisation in Computer Applications) or B.E/B.Tech in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Technology from a recognised University or equivalent. ii) Five years’ experience of Electronics Data Processing Work, out of which at least two years experience should be in actual programme. OR B. - i) Degree in Computer Applications / Computer Science or Degree in Electronics / Electronics and Communication Engineering from recognised university or equivalent. ii) Seven years’ experience in Electronics Data Processing Work, out of which at least three years experience should be in actual programming. OR C. i) Master’s Degree of a recognised University or equivalent. ii) Eight years’ experience in Electronic Data Processing Work, out of which at least four years’ experience should be in actual programming. OR D.- i) ‘A’level Diploma under DOEACC Programming or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application offered under University Programme / Post Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Application awarded by State Council of Technical Education or equivalent. ii) Eight years’ experience in Electronic Data Processing Work, out of which at least four years’ experience should be in actual programming.

Govt. of UT of Pondicherry: One Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale) in Tuberculosis, Health & Family Welfare, Department (Health). This post is also suitable for persons with Locomotor disability as indicated below: - Locomotor disability of not more than 50% as specified below. i) Amputation – Total impairment up to 40% but limited to 20% in each limb. ii) There should be functional thumb, index finger and middle finger on both upper Limbs; iii) There should be no disability in terms of loss of movement of joints other than fingers and toes; iv) The loss of muscle power should not be more than 20% and v) There should be no disability in terms of sensory loss or coordination of Limbs. Rs. 10000-15200 (NPA not admissible) (T.E. Rs.18600). 45 yrs EQ: A Edu: i) A recognised medical qual. ii) Post graduate degree / diploma in the concerned specialty i.e. M.D, (Tuberculosis), M.D. / MRCP in Medicine with TDD, DTD or DTCD, or TDD / DTD /DTCD or equivalent, B. Exp: Three years experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining the Post graduate degree or five years experience after obtaining the Post-graduate diploma. NOTE:1: The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the Medical Council of India. NOTE:II: In so far as post graduate medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time. NOTE:III: Holders of specialty Board of USA qualifications should complete the entire requirements of the Board concerned.

One Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale) in Psychiatry, Health & Family Welfare, Department (Health). (Reserved for Other Backward Classes Candidate). Age limits as on 10.08.2006. The age limit shown against post at S. No. 5 is relaxed age limit for OBC candidates. The age limit shown against all other S. Nos is normal age limit and only in these cases age is relaxable for OBC candidates upto 3 years in respect of posts reserved for them.

Age is also relaxable for certain other categories.
Candidates with disabilities (as indicated against each item) can apply to the respective posts even if the post is not reserved for them.
However, such candidates will be considered for selection to such posts by general standard of merit. Persons suffering from not less than 40% of relevant disability shall alone be eligible for the benefit of reservation and other relaxations as permissible under the rules.
Qual are relaxable at Commission’s discretion.
Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received is large the Commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview
Fee Rs.50/- payable in form of Central Rectt. Fee Stamps ONLY to be affixed on application form. No other mode of payment is acceptable. No fee for SC/ST/Physically handicapped Candidates. Candidates abroad should enclose fee receipt issued by Indian Embassy/Mission.
