Agriculture Ministry

1. One Chief Engineer, Grade II in Central institute of Fisheries, Nautical and Engineering Training, Cochin in Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries. Rs.7450-11500 (T. E. Rs.16427). 30 yrs as on 25.09.2008.

Qualifications: Essential:

A. Educational:

• Matriculation passed from a recognized Board / University or equivalent,
• Certificate of competency of MOT First class or Second Class Engineer (Motor) or certificate of competency as Engineer (Fishing Vessel) issued by the Mercantile Marine Department.

B. Experience: 3 years' practical experience on Fishing Vessel

Health & F.W. Ministry

2. One Technical Officer (Lecturer) in Central Food Laboratory, Kolkata. Rs.6500-10500 (T.E. Rs.14333). 35yrs.

Qualifications: Essential:

A. Educational: M.Sc degree in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/ Chemistry of Foods and Drugs and Water from a recognized University or equivalent. OR Degree in Food Technology/Technical Chemistry of a recognized University or equivalent.

B. Experience:

i) 2 years' experience in imparting training in food analysis.

ii) Intimate knowledge of food standards, food composition and detection of adulteration.

3. One Statistical Investigator, Grade -1 in the Office of the Registrar General, India. The post is reserved for OBC candidates. The post is also suitable for Physically Handicapped (Partially Deaf) candidates. Rs.6500-10500 (T.E. Rs.14333). 33 yrs.

Qualifications: Essential:

A. Educational: Master's degree in Statistics / Mathematics (with Statistics) / Operations Research/Physics or Economics (with Statistics) / Commerce (with Statistics) or degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science of a recognised University or equivalent.

B. Experience : Five years' experience of Electronic Data Processing / Computer oriented information or Statistical System out of which at least three years experience should be in responsible capacity in actual Computer Programming and system or design development; organising computerised information stores and retrieval system.
