No.F.1/261/2006-R-V One Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering (Technical) In Delhi College of Engineering, Directorate of Training and Technical Education, Govt of Nct of Delhi. Qualifications: Essential: Educational:A.(i) Ph.D Degree with first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Civil Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
ii) 3 years experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of Assistant Lecturer or equivalent. OR
B.i) First class degree at Master’s level in the Civil Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent and
ii) 5 years experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent.
Note: Such candidates will be required to obtain Ph.D degree within a period of seven years from the date of appointment as Assistant Professor. OR
C.Candidates from Industry/Profession with first class Bachelor’s Degree/First class Master’s degree in Civil Engineering/Technology from a recognised University or equivalent and Professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D Degree and with 5 years Industrial/Professional experience would also be eligible.
Note: If a class/division is not awarded at B.E./B. Tech./ M.E/M.Tech./equivalent degree, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/division. If a grade point system is adopted, CGPA will be converted to equivalent marks and minimum CGPA shall be 6.75 in the scale of 10.
