Candidates may please refer to the Notice for Tax Assistant Examination, 2007 published in the Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar issue dated 21 - 27th July, 2007.

Age relaxation for Central Government Civilian Employees mentioned under para 4(D) of the Notice may be read as upto 40 years (45 years for SC/ST candidates and 43 years for OBC candidates) instead of 35 years (40 years for SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates). Also the age relaxation for the said Govt. Employees given in tabular form in Annexure-II may be read as under:

09	Central Govt. Civilian Employees who have. rendered not less than 3 years continuous service as on 17.08.2007	Upto 40 years
10	Central Govt. Civilian Employees who have. rendered not less than 3 years continuous service as on 17.08.2007 + OBC	Upto 43 years
11	Central Govt. Civilian Employees who have. rendered not less than 3 years continuous service as on 17.08.2007 + SC/ST	Upto 45 years

Other contents of the Notice will remain unchanged.
