SSC Madhya Pradesh Region Recruitment 2011 Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the undermentioned SSC Post.
Category MPR – 1 : Senior Scientific Assistant-III in Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine & Storage, Faridabad.
SSC Vacancy : 01 UR
Classification : General Central Service, Group ‘C ( Non Gazetted ), Non-Ministerial. Non-Technical.
P.S. for Senior Scientific Assistant : Pay Band-2, 9300-34800, Grade Pay : 4200.
Age : 18-25 years Relaxable upto 15 years for Departmental / Central Government Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years continuous service on regular basis ( and not on ad-hoc basis ) as on the normal closing date for receipt of SSC Madhya Pradesh applications ( i.e. 10.06.2011 )
EQ : B. Sc. ( Agriculture )
Probation : 2 years.
J.R : To conduct and assist in conducting the inspection of imported plants / plant materials to enforce the DIP Act 1914 and PFS Order 1989 issued there under, with a view to preclude the entry of exotic pests, diseases, nematodes, weeds, virus, bacteria, mites, etc. To undertake and assist in undertaking the export certification of plants and plant materials for issuance of Phytosanitary Certificate in pursuance to International Plant Protection Convention 1951 of FAO.
To identify / confirm and assist in identification / confirmation of pests, diseases, weeds, nematodes, mites, virus, bacteria in the laboratory. To assist in formulating the global technical information on pests, diseases, nematodes, treatment, etc., also in developing Pest Risk Analysis based on the available technical literature in India as well as abroad. To undertake and assist in undertaking in the treatment of imported / exportable plants / plants materials pertaining to disinfection / disinfestation.
To handle and assist in operating high-tech laboratory equipments like ELISA, X-Ray machine, Ultracentrifuge, etc. To undertake and assist in undertaking various laboratory investigations like Blotter, Test, Nematode Detection Test, Incubation Test and also Grow-out Test in the glasshouse / polyhouse / mesh house. The SSC Madhya Pradesh Region Post is not identified as suitable for PH Candidates.
Note – I :
Age and EQ are reckonable on the closing date of the receipt of SSC Madhya Pradesh application for SSC Madhya Pradesh Region viz. 10.06.2011.
Note -II :
As per Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification No.44 dated 01-03-1995 published in Gazette of India edition dated 08-04-1995, the Degree obtained through Open Universities / Distance Education Mode needs to be recognized by Distance 9 Education Council, IGNOU. Accordingly, unless such Degrees had been recognized for the period when the candidates acquired the relevant qualification, they will not be accepted for the purpose of Educational Qualification.
Note – III :
Candidates who have not acquired / will not acquire the Educational qualification for SSC Senior Scientific Assistant as on the closing date of receipt of SSC Madhya Pradesh Region application ( 10.06.2011 ) will not be eligible and need not apply.

2. SSC Fee Payable : Rupees Fifty Only.
2.1 Mode of Fee Payment : Fees to be paid by C R F S only.
2.1.1 Candidates are advised to pay the SSC Madhya Pradesh Examination fee in the form of CRFS for which they are not to pay any commission. These stamps are available at all departmental Post Offices of the Country. These Recruitment Stamps may be pasted at the top left hand comer of the Application Form in the space provided for the purpose.
Recruitment Stamps must be got cancelled from the counter clerk of any Post Office including the Post Office of issue with the date stamp of Post Office in such a manner that the impression of the cancellation stamps clearly overflows on the SSC Madhya Pradesh Application Form itself, taking care at the same time that the impression is clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of the date and the Post Office of issue at any subsequent stage. Non-cancellation of stamps may lead to rejection of the Application Form for SSC Madhya Pradesh.
2.1.2 SSC Madhya Pradesh Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
2.1.3 SSC Fee paid by modes other than CRFS as specified above will not be accepted and applications of such candidates will be rejected forthright and the payment made shall stand forfeited.
2.2 SSC Fee Concession : No fee for SC / ST / PH / Ex-S / Women candidates. Fee concession is not available to OBC candidates. Fee concession is not available to sons and daughters of EXS. EXS candidates who have already taken up a Government job shall not be entitled for SSC Madhya Pradesh Region fee concession.
Note – 1
Reserved category candidates applying against unreserved SSC Madhya Pradesh posts will not be entitled for age relaxation but fee concession shall be admissible. However age relaxation is available tough candidates even against the post/s not reserved for them, provided the post(s) has been identified as suitable for such candidates.
