7. SSC CHSL 2010 Exam Centres
Candidates submitting paper SSC CHSL application must indicate the centre of examination opted by him / her, in the SSC Application Form in respect of the SSC CHSL Examination.
A candidate must submit his / her SSC application form only to the concerned Regional / Sub Regional Office of the Staff Selection Commission under whose jurisdiction the Centre selected by him / her falls.
Application for SSC CHSL received in any other Regional / Sub Regional Office of the Commission will be rejected summarily.
The applications should be addressed to the Regional / Sub-Regional Offices of the Commission as indicated in the table below :

Note – I :
No change of Centre of SSC CHSL Examination will be allowed under any circumstances. Hence, the candidates should select the centres carefully and indicate the same correctly in their SSC CHSL applications.
Note – II :
Staff Selection Commission reserves the right to cancel any Centre and ask the candidates of that centre to appear from another centre. The Staff Selection Commission also reserves the right to divert candidates of any centre to some other Centre to take the SSC CHSL examination.
8. Scheme of Examination for SSC CHSL 2010 :
The SSC examination will consist of a SSC CHSL written examination and skill test on Computer for the SSC post of Data Entry Operator and Typing Test for the post of Lower Division Clerks.

The SSC written examination will consist of one objective type paper as shown below :

Note – I :
The SSC Papers will consist of Objective Type-Multiple choice questions only. The SSC questions will be set both in English & Hindi.
Note – II :
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
