3. Fee Payable for SSC Junior Research Assistant: Rs.50/- for Cat. No. WR-ll. No Fee for Cat.No.WR-L

Mode of Payment for SSC Junior Research Assistant

The candidates should pay the fee by means of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps". These stamps are available at the counter of all departmental post offices of the country. These recruitment fee stamps may be pasted on the top left hand corner of the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose.

These Recruitment stamps must be got cancelled from the counter clerks of any post office of issue with date stamp of issuing office in such a manner that the impression on the cancelled stamps partially overflows on the Application Form itself, taking care at the same time that the impression is clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of date and post office of issue at any subsequent stage. After getting the Recruitment Fee Stamps cancelled from the Post Office, the candidate may submit their application to the concerned Regional Office of the Commission in the usual manner after completing other formalities.

Note I: Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances

Note II: Fees paid by modes other than specified above will be forfeited and the applications of such candidates summarily rejected..

Note III: Candidates may please note that non-cancellation of stamps from the concerned post office in the manner indicated above, may lead to rejection of his/her application form, so it is in the interest of candidates that they get the CRFS stamps cancelled from the concerned post office also.

4. Mode of Selection SSC Junior Research Assistant: Candidates fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualifications will be shortlisted on the basis of their educational qualifications, academic records, percentage of marks etc. or through a screening test. Candidates thus selected may be required to undergo a proficiency test wherever applicable. The Commission holds the discretion to fix different qualifying standards for different categories in the Proficiency Test wherever applicable. Final select list would be prepared in order of merit as disclosed by the aggregate marks (marks of Proficiency test wherever applicable and interview) finally awarded to each candidate taking into account number of vacancies advertised and in that order as many candidates as are found suitable by the Commission would be recommended.

Note: Mere fulfilling of minimum prescribed qualification will not entitle candidates to be called for the Screening Test/Proficiency Test/Interview

5. How To Apply SSC Junior Hindi Translator: Applications must be submitted in the form published along with this-advertisement in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar, dated 11.08.2007. The applications may be typed out in double space or written in hand neatly, but format should be the same as published. Application should be accompanied by SC certificate as per Appendix II &OBC Certificate as per Appendix III published alongwith the application form failing which the application will be summarily rejected. The applications should be addressed to so as to reach before the closing date of receipt of applications i.e. 10.09.2007.

Note (1): Applications submitted on a format which is not exactly the same as published in this advertisement, are liable to be rejected summarily.

Note (2): The Commission may consider conducting the Screening Test or Proficiency Test or Skill Test wherever applicable for the post.

6. Documents to Be Attached With the Application:

i) Central Recruitment fee stamps for Rs.50/- affixed and clearly cancelled on the application form. ii) One recent passport size photograph, duly signed on the front by the candidate should be pasted (Not Stapled) on the space provided in Application form. An other copy of the same photo should be retained by the candidate for pasting on the Attendance Certificate.

iii) One self-addressed postcard duly affixed with an additional Rs.6/- postage stamp. The candidate must indicate the name of the post, category Number, and Advt. No. on the postcard.

iv) One Envelope of 12 cms.x 25 cms. size which should be affixed with postage stamps Worth Rs.6/-.

v) Documents in support of claim of SC/OBC- The certificate for claim of SC/OBC should be as per Appendix -II/III published alongwith the application form. The OBC certificate should clearly mention their creamy layer status lf application is not accompanied with OBC certificate in the prescribed format of Central Govt published alongwith this advertisement, the same will be summarily rejected and no further opportunity will be provided.

v) Attested copies of certificates and mark statements (AII the 3 years of degree and 2 years of Masters Degree) showing age and educational qualifications.

vi) Documents in support of claim of age-relaxation (for categories not covered in item (v) above).

vii) Candidates in Govt, service are to attach an undertaking that they have informed in writing to their Head of Office/Department that they have applied for the post.

Note:

(1) Candidates should note that the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination certificate OR an equivalent certificate on the date of submission of application, will be accepted by the Commission and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.

(2) If the above documents are not submitted alongwith the application, it will be rejected summarily or at any stage of the recruitment process and no request for revival will be considered.

(3) Incomplete or unsigned applications or applications without photograph or late applications will be rejected summarily.

(4) A candidate should submit only one application against a particular category of post.

(5) Copies of all attested certificates should be clear and legible. Applications with illegible copies of certificates may be rejected summarily.

(6) Provisional Certificates/Marksheets in support of age, educational qualifications signed by the Principals of Colleges or Schools are not acceptable by the Commission. Attested copies of Marksheets/Certificates signed/issued by Universities/Board's competent officers need be submitted alongwith the applications.
