16. Scheme of SSC Deputy Field Officers (Tele) Exam 2007 & its Syallabus:

(A): Scheme of Examination

The examination will be conducted in two stages / parts:

Part – I: Written Exam (200 marks)
Part – II: Interview (100marks)

Part-I: Written Examination

The written examination will be conducted on 25.11.2007 and will consist of two papers as under:-

Note-I: Paper-I will consist of Objective type multiple choice questions only and OMR Answer Sheet will be provided for Paper I . The question papers (Test Booklets) for Part B of Paper I (General Awareness) will be set in both languages - English and Hindi.

Note-II: In Paper-II, candidates will have the option to answer questions from any one Section i e. Either of (Physics & Mathematics) OR of Electronics / Telecommunication/Radio Engineering OR Computer Science/Computer Applications.

Those who opt for Section-I will be required to answer atleast 2 questions from each sub section (a)Physics and (b) Mathematics. Candidates will have the option to answer Paper- II either in English or in Hindi.

Note-III: Candidates must write the papers in their own hand. In no circumstances will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write the answers for them.

Note-IV: In the question papers, wherever necessary, in question involving numerals, the Metric system of weight and measures only will be set.

Note-V: Paper-II(Conventional Type Paper) will be evaluated in respect of only those candidates who qualify in Paper-I(Objective Type Paper) at the standard which may be fixed by the Commission at its discretion.

Note-V: Candidates are not permitted to use calculators or any mechanical/electric or electronic device for answering any paper (Test Booklets). They should not, therefore, bring the same inside the Examination Hall. Possession thereof, whether in use or not, may be termed as ‘using unfair means in the Examination.

Note-VI: Any Certificate in Support of the Claims Made by the Candidate Regarding Age, Educational Qualifications, Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribe Category, Ex-Serivcemen etc. Will be Verified at the Time of Interview. The Candidates Applying for the Examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination.Their admission at all the stages of examination for which they are admitted by the commission and interview test will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. if on verification at any time before or after the written examination and interview , it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the examination will be cancelled by the commission. the candidate may be permanently or for specified period, debarred for the examinations conducted by this commission in case candidate fraudulently claims ex-serviceman/central government civilian employees status/sc/st category.

Part-II: Interview /Personality Test

The candidates who secure in the written examination the minimum qualifying marks as may be fixed by the Commission at their discretion, will be eligible to appear in the PERSONALITY TEST/INTERVIEW which will be held at the Commission’s Regional Offices or other Centres as may be decided by the Commission.

No TA is payable to any candidate for appearing in the written examination.

Note-I: Candidates are required to submit alongwith their applications attested certificate(s) in support of their claims regarding age, educational qualifications,category.

The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of examination for which they are admitted by the Commission (written examination and Interview) will be purely PROVISIONAL, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the written examination and Interview/Personality test, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the examination will be cancelled by the Commission.

Note- II: Candidates have the option to submit either self attested / self certified photocopies of various documents or to submit photocopies of various documents duly attested by a Gazetted Officer as per extant procedure alongwith the application form.

However, the original documents / certificates will be verified at the time of Personality Test/Interview and their candidature will be subject to result of such scrutiny. While exercising the facility of self-attestation of various documents, the candidates are warned that (a) any wrong attestations so as to mislead the Commission or to gain access to Commission’s Examinations, would lead to criminal/debar action against the candidates, besides cancellation of their candidatures; and (b) all original certificates will be checked at the time of Personality test/Interview and as the case may be, and their candidature is subject to result of such scrutiny.
