(I) Educational and other Qualifications for SSC Delhi Subordinate Services Selectin Board:

Essential for Post Codes 114 / 07 to 138 / 07 PGT (Commerce, Economics, History, Political Science, Geography, Sociology, Maths, Physics, Chemistry Biology, English, Hindi, Sanskrit and Punjabi ):-

1. Master’s Degree (or its equivalent Oriental Degree in the case of PGT Sanskrit / Hindi) the subject concerned from any recognized University.

2. Degree / Diploma in Training / Education. “Qualification mentioned at S.No.2 above is relaxable in the case of candidates: -

• Having obtained Ph.D. Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University / Institution; OR
• Having obtained First Division in Higher Secondary, Degree and Post Graduate Examination with the mandatory condition that the candidate will acquire the B.Ed / B.T qualification within a period not exceeding three years from the date of his joining the service.

Desirable:

Three years experience of teaching in a College / Higher Secondary School / High School in the subject concerned.

Educational and other Qualifications

Any one of the following: -

• Master’s Degree in Drawing & Painting with a recognized diploma / certificate of minimum one year’s duration provided the person has studied Geometrical / Mechanical Drawing in his course.
• Graduate in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) from a recognized University or Institute established by law or equivalent degree.
• Graduate in Architecture from a recognized University or Institute established by the law provided who had offered Geometrical & Mechanical Drawing as one of the subject in Higher Secondary or equivalent course.
• B.Tech. Education Degree from regional college of Education.
• Graduate from a recognized University with one of the following possessing Drawing Teacher Diploma / Certificate provided he has studied Geometrical & Mechanical Drawing in the Graduation and / or Drawing Teacher Diploma / Certificate: -

• Three years full time diploma course for five years part-time of the Art Department of the erstwhile Delhi Polytechnic) provided he had taken up the Refresher Course in the Delhi Polytechnic Delhi.
• Four tears Art Master’s Course from the Government School of Arts, Chandigarh, Punjab.
• Holder of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 years course) from any state Board Technical Education. High School, for existing teachers with 5 years full time diploma when High School was required qualification for entrance in diploma course. For Tow Years Diploma

• School / College of Art & Craft, Lucknow.
• Directorate of Industrial Training Institute, Punjab, Chandigarh.
• Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
• Directorate of Industrial Training Institute, Haryana, Chandigarh.
• B.Ed. Degree / Diploma in Fine Arts from Regional College of Education.

Desirable:

At least 2 years’ Drawing Teachers Training Course from a recognized Institution. OR 2 years’ teaching experience in a recognized institute.

Pay Scale - Rs.5500-9000, Group-B,

Probation Period – 2 years

Age- Below 32 years(Relaxable in case of Govt. servants & those teaching in Universities)

(Note: Age limit will be relaxable by 10 years in case of Woman candidates).

Relaxation in upper age limit available to: - SC / ST -05 years, OBC-03 years, PH- 05 years , PH & SC / ST - 10 years and PH & OBC -08 years).
