Essential qualification -

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Speed of 30 w.p.m. in English typing 25 w.p.m. in Hindi typing subject to orders which are issued from time to time.

Educational and other qualifications:

• Matric pass from a recognised Board / Institute or equivalent.
• 02 years experience in band contingent in a recognized organisation.
• Should qualify following physical endurance test as prescribed by Chief Fire Officer. Performance Score Points (1 to 10 points)

Physical Standard -

1. Minimum height 165 cms. (Relaxation of 5 cms. for hilly areas people).

2. Minimum weight : 50 Kgs.

3. Chest Normal : 81 cms. and Chest expanded : 86.5 cms.

Disqualification : Deformity of any limb / extra limb.

Desirable :

• Technical qualification in profession.
• Swimming / Driving.
• Possession of valid heavy traffic vehicle license.

Note : Candidates selected for appointment to the posts shall have to undergo a preservice training of 03 months as prescribed by the Chief Fire Officer and shall have to pass the prescribed test. The training shall be terminated if the work and conduct of the candidate is not found satisfactory. During training a fixed amount of stipend should only be paid.
