Of NCT of Delhi Superseding all the earlier notifications issued by the DSSSB regarding weightage of Part -1 (Objective Type) & Part - II (Descriptive Type) of candidates for drawing the final merit, it is hereby notified that henceforth Part -1 Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) will be of Qualifying nature only and Final merit will be prepared on the basis of performance of candidates (marks secured) in the Part - II Main Examination (Descriptive Type) only. The question-cum-answer booklet of Part - II Main Examination will be evaluated only for those candidates who qualify Part- I Preliminary Examination. Notification Of Date Of Exam For The Post Of Asstt. Teacher (Primary) [Post Code - 348,164/07 TO 169/07] The schedule of exam for the post code 348 and 164/07 to 169/07 fixed for 09-03-2008 notified vide advertisement in various leading newspapers on dated 12th & 15th January 2008 & Employment News dated 26th Jan. -1st Feb. 2008 stands deferred. Now Part - I Preliminary Exam (Objective Type) and Part - II Main Exam (Descriptive Type) will be held together on 20-04-2008 (SUNDAY) & 21 -04-2008 (MONDAY) as per schedule given below:- Part -1 (Preliminary Examination)
The Scheme, Test Component & Syllabus for these post codes notified earlier vide advertisement in various leading newspapers on dated 12th & 15th January 2008 & Employment News dated 26th Jan.-01st Feb. 2008 will remain the same, except following rectification:- In the above advertisement the sentence "The scheme of part -1 exam for the post codes 165/07 to 167/07 as advertised vide advt. No. 08/07 will remain the same" may be read as "The scheme of part -1 exam for the post codes 165/07 to 169/07 as advertised vide advt. No. 08/07 will remain the same". PART - II (Main Examination) consists of Descriptive type Questions of 200 marks to be answered in 21/2 Hours. The questions will be on the concerned subject/trade/work/qualification of the relevant post as prescribed the recruitment rules and will be of the same level as applicable for the concerned post. The format of the Part-ll question paper would be as follows:
