The examination will be conducted in two Parts.
Part-I: Objective Type - 2 ½ Hours - 200 Marks
Part-II: Descriptive Type - 2 ½ Hours - 200 Marks
Part - I
Scheme & Syllabus of Examination:
The Part-I (Objective Type Question Papers) will consist of following components:-

Questions on test components Sl. No. 1 to 3 as mentioned above will be bilingual in English & Hindi. The question paper will consist of 200 questions carrying 200 marks (one mark each). There will be a deduction of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer.
The Syllabus for Part-I will be as follows:
Child Psychology, Educational Technology and
understanding of teaching-learning process and related topics.
Arithmetical and Numerical Ability, General Awareness and General Intelligence, : Questions on Arithmetical & Numerical ability will cover Number System including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc. Questions on General Awareness and General Intelligence will be designed to test candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and of such matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person and its application to society. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Indian Polity & Constitution, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, General Policy, Science and Scientific Research, National/International Organizations/Institutions.
General Science and Social Science: Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s knowledge with regard to General Science and Social Science.
English Language and Hindi Language: In addition to the testing of candidate’s understanding of the English Language and Hindi Language, its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage etc., would also be tested.
Part - II
Part-II will consist of Descriptive type Questions for 200 marks to be answered in 2 ½ hours. Part-II will include descriptive type question on (i) Child Psychology, (ii) Educational Technology and understanding of teaching-learning process and related topics, (iii) Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, (iv) General Science and Social Science and (v) Comprehension and Writing Ability of English and Hindi languages.
Note:
In Part-II, the candidates will have
to write the answers in either English or Hindi at the space provided on the
Question cum Answer Booklet itself. The medium of writing the answers must be
specified on the Question cum Answer Booklet at the space provided. They will not be given any additional answer sheets.
Part-II (Descriptive Part) will be held subsequently for those who have qualified in Part-I at the minimum standard fixed by the Board as per the existing policy.
The merit list will be prepared based on performance
in both Part-I & Part-II examinations taken together.
The Board reserves the right to reject the
candidature of any ineligible candidate at any stage of recruitment.
The detailed ‘General Instructions to Candidates’ regarding the conduct of examination will be sent along with the Admit Card.
