Minimum academic qualifications prescribed:

Intermediate or Senior Secondary (12 years) Examination under 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as Subjects of the Examination in Ist or IInd Division.

Age Limits: 17-21 years as on 1.8.2007

Remarks: Candidates appearing at the Intermediate/Senior Secondary (12 years) examination under 10+2 pattern of School Education/Ist year of the 3 years degree course or equivalent examination with the prescribed subjects also eligible subject to certain conditions.
