Applications are invited for the following posts in the prescribed form from the citizens of India and from such other persons declared eligible by Ministry of Home Affairs,Government of India.

Application addressed to the Assistant Secretary, Railway Recruitment Board, Gorakhpur may be sent by ordinary post or can be dropped in the Application Box kept in the RRB office for this purpose upto I8.OOhrs on the closing date 12-03-2007. For candidates belonging to Andman & Nicobar Island and Lakshdweep, the last date will be 15 days beyond the closing date. Candidate must fill in the application form in their own handwriting and must sign themselves; otherwise their candidature will be cancelled if detected at any stage.

Application form for a category should be sent in separate cover and one cover must not contain application of more than one category. Candidate must follow the instructions mentioned for different categories.

Application sent by registered post/ courier or speed post will not be acknowledge. The envelop containing the application should be clearly superscribed in red ink with "Application form for the post of_________Category No_______Employment Notice No. R.R.B./GKP/01/2007"

The Railway Recruitment Board will not be responsible for cancellation of their Candidature due to their incomplete application form.

Online Registration

1. Facility for On-Line Registration and application log on to website http://www.rrbgkp.gov.in
2. Register, Apply, take printout of the single page application form and send it to RRB, dully filling up declaration, affixing signature, LTI, Photograph and requisite enclosures.
3. Application will be rejected if not on prescribed format and without IPO / Bank draft of prescribed value.

The examination may be held for the same posts in more than RRB on the same day. It is possible that written Examination is scheduled on the same day for more than post for which the candidate has applied to the same RRB or other RRB’s on the Indian Railways. As such, RRB / Gorakhpur is not responsible for any cash in the date of exam for post notified by them or other RRB’s.
