The application format is given at the end of this advertisement. The selection procedure is as follows:
Application will be received only through ORDINARY POST. Application received through speed post/ registered post or couriers will be rejected.
All original certificates and mark sheets are to be produced at the time of screening.
Preliminary selection, PFT and Medical Examination, which may take 3-4 days.
Candidates declared Medically Temporary Unfit in the intial recruitment medical could avail specialist review from the specified Military Hospital within a maximum period of 21 days. No further review/appeal is permissible if declared unfit in the specialist review.
Candidates declared Medically Permanent unfit in the intial recruitment medical can appeal for specialist opinion in a Military Hospital on payment of Rs 40 /- by Military Receivable Order (MRO) on Government Treasury within 21 days. Medical fitness certificate other than that of the specialist opinion in a Military Hospital will not be considered. No further review/appeal is permissible.
The candidates who qualify in all respects will be short listed for Final screening depending upon the vacancies. Candidates selected in the Final Screening will be dispatched to INS Chilka for training.
The candidate’s selection pertaining to a particular batch is valid for that batch only. Qualified candidates whose names do not appear in the final select list cannot claim admission for the next batch. These candidates will have to undergo the selection procedure afresh provided that they meet the eligibility criteria for the fresh batch.
No enquiry will be entertained regarding recruitment / enrolment after a period of six months.
All candidates selected in preliminary screening will be forwarded Police Verification form and the candidates will be required to submit the same to INS Chilka after getting their antecedents verified on this form from the concerned district police authorities. Candidates without the verified police verification reports will notbe eligible for enrolment. The format for the police verification form can also be downloaded from the internet site www.nausena-bharti.nic.in immediately after the declaration of select list, to ensure timely verification.
How to Apply
17. Application Form: The application is to be submitted on A4 size paper only as per the given format. Only one application form is to be forwarded.
Candidates who send more than one application for the same entry or apply for more than one examination centre will be disqualified.
Application sent through agents will not be accepted. Forms can also be downloaded from Internet: www.nausena-bharti.nic.in
Documents: The following documents are to be forwarded:-
(a) Envelope: The type of entry, choice of centre and percentage of marks in 10th is to be clearly written on top of the envelope containing the application. Envelopes should be of brown colour. Example: MR Musician- MUMBAI – 68.7 %.
(b) List of Documents: The following documents are to be punched and tied firmly with a strong thread to the application in the sequence below:-
Attested copy of Matriculation certificate. Any other certificate/markssheet for verification of Date of Birth is not acceptable.
Attested copy of 10th / equivalent examination mark sheet.
Attested copy of any other certificate i.e. NCC /Sports etc.
Two self-addressed envelops of size 22 x 10 cms with Rs 10/- stamp affixed on one envelope.
One photocopy of Domicile Certificate attested by Gazetted Officer/Gram Panchyat.
(c) Photographs: Candidates are required to submit 1 recent coloured passport size photographs with the negative thereof along with the application with their name and signature on the reverse of the photograph. The photograph is to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest with his name, date of birth, date of photographand state to which the candidate belongs, clearly written with white chalk in capital letters. The background of the photograph should be blue.
Application received without negative/photographs in above format will be rejected. Computer generated/ digital photographs will not be accepted.
Note:- Attesting Officer’s name with office address / seal should be clear and legible. The contours of the thumb impression to be clear & ink should not be smudged.
Note. Candidates are to choose only one centre for recruitment in accordance with the address given in the application, e.g. a candidate whose address is in Maharashtra can only choose Mumbai. Navy will not be responsible for any postal delay/loss of any documents during transit.
Important Information
Navy reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cut off percentage without assigning any reason. No communication shall be entertained on this account.
