Unmarried, male, aged between 16 1/2 to 19 1/2 years. Passed 10 +2 Exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and getting more than 70 % in all?.
No Written Test, Only a Hi tech Interview at SSB.

Indian Army Vacancies :
70 per course, ( Two Courses in a year). Candidates on successful completion of a 4 years of the course, will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of a Lieutenant in Arms / Services as per discretion of Army Hq.

Indian Army Training : Total Indian Army training will be 5 years details as under :
Basic Military Training : 1 Year at IMA Dehradun>Technical Training : Phase –I (Pre Commission Training) – 3 years(CME Pune, MCTE Mhow and MCEME Secunderabad)
Phase-II (Post Commission training) 1 year at CME Pune, MCTE Mhow and MCEME Secundrabad.
Cost of Indian Army Training : The entire cost of Indian Army training including books and reading material is borne by the Army. Cadets are also provided with free clothing and messing.

Indian Army Selection Procedure :
The Indian Army selection procedure is as follows :
Short listed candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview at Bhopal, Bangalore or Allahabad.
Indian Army Interviews will be held during August / September or January / February.
The duration of the Services Selection Board Interviews is held for five days excluding day of arrival. During their stay at Services Selection Board SSB, candidates are put through the following Indian Army tests
- Pre screening test (Only those candidates who qualify in this will be permitted to sit for the next test)
- Psychological Tests
- Group tests
- Personal Interview
- Medical exam for successful candidates.
