Education	10 +2 (PCM) With 75 % and above	A degree in naval Architecture /Mechanical /Aeronautical /Civil/Metallurgy Engineering	M.Sc., in Physics/Maths/Chemistry/Computers Eng/Eco/His/Political Science Or B.E Any Discipline.
Tests	Direct SSB Interview	Direct SSB Only	Direct SSB interview Only.

* Women are eligible for Short Service Commission.

University Entry for Engineering Students is available for Education - Naval architect - Engineer & Electrical Officer Branches.

Age: 19 ½  to 25 Years (for tech and Submarine Cadre),19 to 24 For UES Final Year Students, 18 ½ to 23 ½ years for UES Pre Final year students. UES is not applicable for women. 
Short Service Commission means a term of 10 years extendable up to 14 Years subject to service requirement and performance/willingness of the candidate. On completion of tenure of SSC, officers are released with gratuity as admissible under the existing rules.
