SSB Coaching Schedule


SSB Coaching Schedule:

We provide all the under mentioned tests and prepare the candidate to face the SSB Interview with confidence.

Psychological Tests:

1.) Intelligence tests consists of Verbal and Non-verbal tests.

2.) Psychological tests to assess the personality of the candidates, these include:-

  • Word Association Test  (WAT)
  • Thematic Appreciation Test (TAT) 
  • Situation Reaction Test  (SRT)
  • Self Description test

Group Testing Officers Tests:

  • Indoor Tests
  • Group Discussion
  • Group Planning
  • Lecturing- Extempore speech

Outdoor Tests.

  • Group Tasks
  • Command Tasks
  • Individual Endurance Tasks

Interviewing officers Test: Personal interview by President/Deputy President. (Mock Tests)

SSB Interview consists of the following tests:

Stage - I:

1.) Pre Screening Tests:

  • OIRT (Officers Intelligence rating test)
  • Perception tests ( A model)
  • Group Discussion, which is followed by above, tests.

2.) Pilot Aptitude battery Test: ( Applicable only for Flying Branch): PABT is a unique test administered to a candidate only once in a life time.  It consists of two tests:

  • Instrument Battery Test
  • Machine Test

Instrument Battery test is a Paper and Pencil Test (identifying the instruments and its reading- The testing officer will explain in detail all the instruments used in the air craft before asking you to take the test.)

Machine Test: This consists of SMA- Simulated Motor Apparatus Test &   CVT - Controlled Velocity Test. 

For  technical Branch  Officers cadre the candidate has to pass in the EKT before his application is forwarded to the Air HQ for further processing .
EKT - Engineering Knowledge Test a paper and Pencil Test
Consists of English and Your area of specialization

For Ground Duty Officers: Pre screening test.

The Officer Intelligence rating Test (OIR Test) is designed to find out the intelligence level of the candidate it is conducted on the first day of the test.
Note: Only those candidates who qualify the screening tests are permitted to continue the stage II tests.  The failures are routed back to their home town on the same evening.
The test starts at 0800 hours, on the day of the test. Candidates are required to report to SSB Centres around 1300 hours on the previous day.

  • Tips to tackle Group tasks and Command Tasks

At Defence Academy: We take you to the Army /CRPF Unit / Sainik School to carry out the outdoor exercises. Besides we have out own Obstacle training area. The toughening exercise starts early morning (applicable for candidates who stay in our hostel)

In order to groom the kids right from the beginning parents are suggested to admit their children in Sainik Academy run under the aegis of  Defence Academy,We admit children from the age of  9 + for entry into

Sainik School & Military School:  For Class VI
RIMC: For Class VIII
