When you join the Indian Army your approximate pay & Allowances would be
During Indian Army Training : 4592 for Soldiers GD, 3940 for Non metric Entry Soldiers.
After Indian Army Training : 5485 for GD Soldiers, 5137 for Non Metric Entry Soldiers.
Method of Indian Army Selection Procedure :
The candidates are required to report to the Recruiting Office on the date published in the local news paper with all educational and other documents.
Stage 1 :
Indian Army Physical fitness test :
- 1.6 Km Run under 6.30 Minutes
- Pull Up – 6 to 12
- Push Up – 25 to 35
- Chin Ups – 8 to 16
- 9 Feet Jump – Pass
Stage 2 : Indian Army Written examination one paper consisting of English / Maths and General Knowledge.
Stage 3 : Indian Army Medical Examination.
For Religious teachers : Physical Fitness test to run 1.6 Km under 8 minutes.
Indian Army Written Examination :
- Paper- I 250 marks General Awareness.
- Paper-II 250 marks – Specific to the particular religion for which he applies.
- Indian Army Interview for those candidates who pass the Indian Army written test will be conducted.
