The candidates will be called for EKT Test, Only those candidates who qualify the EKT will be called for SSB Interview. In EKT ( part A- General English 40 Multiple Choice ?Questions + Part B  Specialist Subjects 35 Multiple Choice Questions) .

Training for selected candidates will be given at Air Force Academy Hyderabad, and Air Force Technical College, Bangalore. Total period of training 72 weeks. As a Technical Branch Officer, you will use your technical knowledge. To deal not only with aircrafts but also its weapon systems, the communication network and other support systems.  You are also required to posses' managerial skills of a very high degree to muster the resources in respect of the entire technical facilities of IAF  right from ground to air.  The IAF plans your career accordingly by offering you various courses and higher technical qualifications in India and abroad so that you are able to fulfill your aspirations as the best in the field.

University Entry Scheme: For male Candidate 18 to 28 years. Pre-final years, Final year Student. Either permanent or Short service Commission

Note: Candidates, who are finally selected to join the Technical Branch under this scheme, will be paid a stipend equivalent to the basic pay of a flying Officer during the period of your final year's stay in the College. Candidates whom join the Short Service Commission Course also entitled to the stipend. 

Women Eligible for Technical Branch:  Should be unmarried if below 25 years of age. Age 18 to 28 Years, Education:  BE / B.Tech with 60 % and above

Short service Commission: For Women following IAF offer commission in the following branches 

Flying Branch Technical Branch Accounts Administrative & Logistics Education Meteorological Branch
19 -23 19 – 28 Years 20 to 23 Years 20 to 23 years For Graduates In any discipline including Law 20 to 25 years 20 to 25 years
B.Sc (Phy & Maths) Or B.E B.E In notified discipline 60 % + in B.com 50% + in M.Com (25 years) 25 years for post Graduates. M.A., / M.Sc., With 50 % and above in Selected Subjects. M.Sc., in Physics/ Meteorology/Geography/ Oceanography MSc in Maths 50 %
25 in case of CPL Holders   AICWA/CA 27 years For Graduates 60% For M.Ed/ Ph.D- 27 Years. Three Stage Selection will be followed
      For PG 50 % +For B.L degree up to 28 Years.   PABT, Personality Test , Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test. Psychological Test, Group Testing and Interview- Medical- Merit List.
