Essential Qualifications:

(i) & (ii) for all above posts mentioned in item A-1 , A-2 & A-3:

(i) A recognised medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational Qualification included in Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in subsection(3) of section(13) of the Indian Medical Council Act.1956.

(ii) A post graduate degree in concerned speciality or its equivalent qualifications. (already mentioned against each discipline).

Essential Qualifications:

(iii) for the posts mentioned in item (A-1) i.e. Assistant Professors: Atleast three years teaching experience as Lecturer / Registrar / Demonstrator / Resident after doing post graduation in the concerned speciality in any recognised medical college.

Note(i):-All Medical Teachers must possess a basic University or equivalent qualifications included in the schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 They should also be registered under the State / Central Medical. Registration Act.

Note(ii):-Two / three years degree course while doing D.M / M.Ch shall be counted as teaching experience for the purpose of appointment as Assistant Professor(Super Speciality).

Essential Qualifications

(iii) for the posts mentioned in item (A-2)i.e. Professors :-At least 04 years teaching experience as Associate Professor in the concerned speciality failing which an Associate Professor having 07 years teaching experience as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor combined in the concerned speciality. However, in all cases the incumbent shall have minimum 10 years teaching experience after post graduation

Essential Qualifications:

(iii) for the posts mentioned in item (A-3)i.e.: Associate Professors: At least 05 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the concerned speciality failing which an Assistant Professor having 06 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor and Lecturer combined in the concerned speciality after post graduation. However, in all cases the incumbent should possess at least 05 years teaching experience after post graduation in the concerned speciality.

(B)-1. Department of Forests (Swan River Integrated Watershed Management Project at Una Distt.(H.P.)

Emoluments:Rs. 45000/- permonth fixed + (T.A ./ D.A. restricted to Rs. 5000/- permonth).	Age : Not more than 45 years as on 01-05- 2007(Relaxed up to 05 years for SC / ST candidates. Enclose matric certificate for age proof).

Essential Qualifications:

Ph.D. in related field (Social Sciences or Natural Resource Management).
At least 03 years experience in training in Natural Resource Management and Participatory Methodology.
Good knowledge of Hindi(reading writing and comprehension).

Desirable:

Knowledge of local language and customs.
Good communication skills in word processing / presentation skills in Hindi and English.
Work / Experience in externally aided projects.

Relaxation in upper age limit:- Relaxation in upper age is five years for SC / ST / OBC / Children and Grand Children of freedom fighters of H.P. For Govt. employees and Exservicemen relaxation is as per Government instruction.
