Note: 1 One post of Scheduled tribe Category which is mentioned before SI.no.-2 Lecturer in English, is carried forward vacancy of previous general recruitment. 2. The Scheduled caste, scheduled tribe & other backward class candidates, who are not the permanent resident of UP, shall not be given the benefit of reservation, such candidate shall be treated as candidates of the general category.

Essential Qualifications:

For Sl.No. 2,3,4,5,7,8,10,11,12,14,15 & 16: A post graduate degree in the respective subject of a University established by law in India or a Degree recognized by the government as equivalent thereto.

For Sl.No.1 (Hindi): A postgraduate degree in Hindi and a bachelor's degree in Arts with Sanskrit or a certificate of Shastri examination of Sanskrit University, Varanasi.

For Sl.No.6 (Biology): A post, graduate degree in Botany or Zoology.

For Sl.No.9 (Home Science): Post graduate degree in Home Science or home Arts or B.Sc. Home Science or B.A with Home Arts from Allahabad or Baroda University or B.A with Home Economics from Allahabad University. OR B.Sc. (Euthenics) from I.T college, Lucknow. OR Any equivalent Indian or Foreign qualification where an integrated course in Home arts or Home Science is prescribed at the level of graduation (and not as one of the optional subjects) OR Three years diploma in home science of Lady Irwin college, Delhi after High school or Intermediate Examination of Madhymik Shiksha Parishad. UP. OR A degree recognized by the government as equivalent thereto.

For Sl.No.13 (Education): A post graduate degree in psychology or Education with L. T. Diploma from a Government or recognized training college or a Bachelor's : degree in Education of a University established by law in India OR A degree of Master of Education of a University established by law in India.

For Sl.No.17 (Art): A post graduate degree in Drawing and Painting of a University established by law In India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

Preferential Qualification For Sl.No. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,: 10,11,12,14,15 & 16 L.T. Diploma from a Government or recognized training College or a Bachelor's degree in Education of a University established by law in India.

For All Posts 1. Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years. OR 2. Obtain a 'B' certificate of the National Cadet Corps.
